The registration fee covers Validated Parking and Will Be Provided to Paid Attendees OnlyValidated parking privileges will be honored for each day of the show and will not include "In and Out Access."

A basic seminar for new film commissioners and a refresher for the experienced where you’ll get answers to:

  • What happens when a location scout visits your area? 
  • What are their needs and goals, and how can a film commissioner best support them?

Balton will address various scenarios, important resources, best practices, and the latest technology they use to find the right locations.

 

As part of AFCI University, AFCI Members will receive 5 credits towards their certification (CFC) for each course.

The Business of Aerial Photography

Veteran Aerial Cinematographer and author David Alan Arnold leads an informed Power Chat about the business of aerial photography; topics of discussion will include safety, permits, clearances, and the explosion of drone photography.   A Q&A will follow.

David promises to share exciting stories from his career, which includes 12 seasons of “The Deadliest Catch,” filming the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the historic World Series victory for the Chicago Cubs, Super Bowl 51 and details about his upcoming book Help From Above

After the presentation, discussions with David and Aaron will continue at the NJ Motion Picture & Television Commission’s booth (#509)
